Annabel Morris Buchanan

Annabel Morris Buchanan was an American composer folklorist and church musician known for her work preserving Appalachian folk music and adapting traditional melodies for worship. She contributed numerous hymn tunes and musical arrangements to twentieth century hymnals. Her work helped integrate American folk musical traditions into congregational song.
