Benjamin Franklin White

Benjamin Franklin White was an American composer teacher and shape note music publisher. He co edited the influential Sacred Harp tunebook which preserved many early American hymn tunes including BEACH SPRING. His music continues to influence congregational singing in both traditional and modern hymnals.
