Bob Kilpatrick

Bob Kilpatrick is an American Christian songwriter and worship leader associated with late twentieth century evangelical worship music. Born in the United States, he became active in church music ministry and Christian songwriting during the growth of contemporary worship movements. Kilpatrick wrote a number of songs used in evangelical churches and worship gatherings. His most widely known song is In My Life Lord Be Glorified, written in the 1970s. The song gained broad use in churches because of its simple structure and focus on personal dedication to God. Kilpatrick work reflects the shift in some Protestant traditions toward contemporary worship music alongside traditional hymnody. His songs continue to be used in church services and devotional settings.
