Carl Philip Daw Jr

Carl Philip Daw Jr is an American Episcopal priest, scholar, and hymn writer known for his contributions to modern English hymnody. He served as executive director of The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada and has written numerous hymn texts for contemporary worship. His hymn God the Spirit, Guide and Guardian reflects a strong biblical and liturgical theology of the Holy Spirit.
