Carolina Vilhelmina Sandell-Berg, often called Lina Sandell, was a Swedish Lutheran hymn writer known for deeply personal and devotional texts. Her hymns frequently express trust in God's providence and comfort in suffering. She is regarded as one of the most influential hymn writers in Scandinavian Christian tradition.
