Biography
Charles H. Webb was an American pianist, organist, conductor, music educator, and United Methodist church musician. He served for many years as dean of the Indiana University School of Music and was also closely connected with congregational worship through his work as an organist and as a member of The United Methodist Hymnal Revision Committee. In The United Methodist Hymnal, his setting of this Baptismal Covenant response appears as a brief congregational musical response designed for use within the baptismal liturgy.
