Charles Winfred Douglas

Charles Winfred Douglas was an American Episcopal priest, musician, and hymn editor known for his work in church music reform. He contributed significantly to the Hymnal 1940 of the Episcopal Church. Douglas also composed and arranged tunes that preserved and adapted ancient hymn texts for modern congregational use.
