Edward Dearle

Edward Dearle was an English organist and composer who served as assistant organist at Westminster Abbey. He composed the hymn tune PENITENCE which became associated with several devotional hymns including Here, O My Lord, I See Thee. His music is known for its reflective character and suitability for congregational singing.
