Biography
Edward Husband was an English Anglican clergyman, hymn writer, and church musician. Hymnary identifies him with the 1871 form of the tune known as ST. HILDA or ST. EDITH, associated with Justin Heinrich Knecht's earlier melody. He was educated at St. Aidan's College, Birkenhead, and served in parish ministry, including at Folkestone.
