Ellen Jane Lorenz

Ellen Jane Lorenz was an American hymn writer, editor, and church musician active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She worked extensively in church music publishing and contributed numerous hymns and gospel songs. Her hymn O the Lamb reflects devotional themes centered on the sacrificial love of Christ.
