Emma Louise Ashford

Emma Louise Ashford, born Emma Louise Hindle, was an American composer, organist, conductor, and church musician. She wrote a large body of sacred and instructional music, including hymns, organ works, anthems, and cantatas. Her tune for My Task is dated 1903 and is closely associated with Maude Louise Ray's text.
