Gustav Theodore Holst

Gustav Theodore Holst was an English composer and church musician known for both orchestral works and sacred music. He composed the hymn tune CRANHAM for In the Bleak Midwinter in 1906. His setting became widely used in hymnals and carol collections because of its reflective and contemplative character.
