James Jefferson Cleveland

James Jefferson Cleveland was an influential American gospel composer, arranger, and choral director often called the King of Gospel Music. He played a major role in shaping modern gospel choir traditions and founded the Gospel Music Workshop of America. Cleveland composed and arranged numerous songs that bridged traditional gospel and congregational worship.
