John Hart Stockton

John Hart Stockton was an American Methodist minister, evangelist, musician, and composer active during the nineteenth century revival movement. He served as a camp meeting preacher and helped lead singing in evangelistic gatherings. His hymn Only Trust Him became a widely used gospel invitation song during revival services.
