Julius Roentgen

Julius Roentgen was a German Dutch composer, pianist, and teacher who contributed to church music through hymn tune arrangements and compositions. His musical settings were used in several European and English language hymnals. The tune Holland associated with Hail, Thou Once Despised Jesus reflects his contribution to congregational hymnody.
