Philip Paul Bliss

Philip Paul Bliss was an American evangelist, gospel singer, and hymn writer associated with the nineteenth century revival movement. Working closely with evangelist Dwight L. Moody, he composed and published many gospel songs that emphasized salvation and personal faith in Christ. His hymns remain influential in evangelical worship.
