Salisbury V C Cox

Salisbury V C Cox was an American Baptist minister, educator, and hymn writer associated with twentieth century church music and religious education. Born in Texas, he pursued theological studies and later served in Baptist ministry while also working as a teacher and writer. Cox contributed hymn texts and devotional writings that were used in church and educational contexts. His hymns reflected themes of Christian commitment, faith, and worship consistent with Baptist congregational traditions. In addition to hymn writing, he was involved in church leadership and religious instruction.
