Thomas Hastings Robinson was an English Anglican priest, scholar, and hymn writer who contributed to nineteenth century church hymnody. Born in Yorkshire England, he studied at Cambridge before entering the ministry of the Church of England. Robinson served as a pastor and educator while also pursuing literary and theological writing. He wrote several hymn texts and devotional poems intended for congregational worship. His hymns often emphasized themes of Christian hope, praise, and trust in God providence. Robinson writings were included in some Victorian hymn collections and contributed to the broader tradition of Anglican devotional literature.
