Thomas John Williams

Thomas John Williams was a Welsh composer, organist, and church musician known for his hymn tune arrangements and contributions to congregational music. He composed the tune TRURO which has been widely paired with several hymn texts including Christ Is Alive. His work reflects the strong Welsh tradition of congregational singing. The melody remains a popular setting for Easter hymns in many denominations.
