William Henry Jude

William Henry Jude was an English organist, composer, and conductor associated with late nineteenth century church and concert music. Born in West Yorkshire England, he studied music and later served as an organist and choir director. Jude composed sacred music including hymn tunes and choral works used in church worship. He also conducted orchestras and contributed to musical life in northern England. Some of his compositions appeared in church music collections and hymnals of the period.
